    Frankland quickchange rear

Ok, so I just bought a Frankland quickchange center section and cover, both bare. I know It's going to nickel and dime me to death buying all the small parts, but I can only afford to do it a little at a time.
My main question is in reference to the axle tubes. I've seen pics of what appears to be mid 30's Ford tubes bolted to the aluminum center section, which is the look I'm after.
How do I find out what year tubes will bolt up to this center section?
Can I shorten these tubes and weld on 8" ends, such as the ones I have from an Explorer rear disc brake setup?
Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated, as I've pretty much dove in here headfirst.

    Thanks - Karl.

Yep, found that yesterday, planning on calling them tomorrow, just hoping to hear from someone with hands on experience out there in the rear world, before talking to a manufacturer.

    Thanks - Karl.
