78 chevy 1/2 ton Chassis w/ 1927 Ford Model T body
I thought this would be the right place for my answers. My dad has a chevy 1/2 ton truck with a 350, it runs great but the body is shot that he is going to get rid of really cheap. He also has a 1927 ford model T that is used for a parts car for his other. So the question is: what is the possibility of fitting that ford body onto the chevy chassis? I know that it will take some cutting, but I'm just curious how much?
Thanks

You will have to widen the T about 2 1/2 feet. You've got the vehicles so measure each one. The T is designed to go on a flat chassis and your pickup truck frame is far from that...
Realize this will not look good and you would be much farther ahead to part out the truck frame and buy a T chassis. Or build one from Sq tubing...

1927 model T Chassis
Can a 1927 model T chassis in decent condition be able to handle a 350 chevy and trans? Not for speed, just for driving.

A stock chassis? No, but if you squared it up and boxed it and welded all of the riveted seams it would be perfectly acceptable.
Just make sure it is in good shape to begin with and not half rusted away.
A rectangular tube chassis for these cars is simple to fabricate and would be much better in the strength department.
