My '48 regular sedan really isn't as heavy as you would think, when I had mine where it was just body and frame I could lift either end with ease. As far as suspension and drive train the sky is the limit. It would all depend on your talent, your budget and what you like. I personally went with a Mustang II front suspension, camaro rear w/the stock springs and a 305 automatic for milage right now. If I was to do it over again I would have put in a camaro sub-frame in the front, I drove one that did and it drove smoother and easier than mine.
