Take a look at progressive automotives site, they have a how to section and I believe they have your car mentioned. They have been around forever .

Yes, we make these kits. recommend that stock type Must. II spindles be used. With the way the front frame rails kick, you can definatly get these cars too low with drop spindle.

fatman makes a stub to remove the bump in the frame and install mustang II ...my buddy just put one on a 34 plm with independent frame originally//

The whole reason for the popularity of the MII swap was so there was no frame cutting needed. If I was going to cut the frame to install stubs, I'd want to end up with something better than a glorified Pinto setup. Ever drive a Pinto? (shudder!)

With the quality MII suspension kits, tubular arms, coilovers, anti-dive, etc. it is much more then a glorified Pinto. I've been selling, installing, and driving these MII suspension packages for about 20 years. The good kits vastly improve the handling of a Hot Rod. I've driven in excess of twice the legal speed limit on the Interstate with them. When done correctly and not as some slip shod conglomeration of left over stamped arms and worn out parts from the junkyard they work great. As with anything you put on your car, you get what you pay for.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Years ago I put a Fatman Mustang II on my 36 Plymouth. They didn't have the "stub kit" someone mentioned back then. I have been suffering from it for years now. With standard spindles it is waaaay too low! I tried everything to get it higher and only caused myself other problems. I've since talked to Bob at Progressive Auto and he straightened me out. I just have to DO IT now. My advise is to talk to him. (see BOB@PROAUTO
