    lowering question

i own a 92 1500 long bed and i want to know if you can use 4 inch shackles on the rear end?
will the 4 inches clear the bed?
and will i need a pinion shim with a 4 inch drop in the back?

I belive that 5" is the begining of shiming- but you will need to re-align your pinion to 2 degrees positive after the drop.
