    bad case of CRS----need help

Anybody remember the formula or ratio for calculating removing X pounds of unsprung weight =removing X pounds of sprung weight?? I'm trying to justify buying a Currie moly housing vs. a stock steel housing......

Dave!!....buddy!!....go lay down and put a cold washrag on your forehead. On a street rod, there is no way it can make one iota of difference, except in the thickness of your wallet!!

HeHeHe!! Ok, Dave, put the little parts down and step away from the Bench. We need to get you a quite place so we don't hurt ourselves!

J/K Dave, what is it going in?

Yeah, it matters!!!! This is on the Ranchero. I want this one to be equally at home on a drag strip, salt flats, or the power tour. I'm retired now, going to finally build one with all the goodies!!!! Got to do it just once, ya know. Still want that Bonneville 200 mph club patch on my Ford Motorsports jacket!!!!!!

Old Smokey Yunick used to say that a 1 pound reduction in unsprung weight equalled a 20 pound reduction in sprung weight as far as chassis tuning was concerned........

I've got a couple aluminum center sections allready, ran one aluminum housing once, wasn't real thrilled with it.

I've got a super good source for moly in Minneapolis. The tubing for my cage should be here this week.... even found me some mandrel bent stainless exhaust tubing to start building headers with. This is gonna be the one I always wanted to build but was just too dang busy trying to make a living!!!!!!
