? about steering arms for 39 chevy
I have a 39 master 85 coupe I am building up, hope to have it running for goodguy's indy this summer. my question is I sent the frame out to be sand blasted, and they lost the steering arms(I am using the orginal striaght axle, does anyone know where I might be able to track down another pair ASAP, or what other yearswork or be alter to use??
I little back ground on the car using a 9' ford rearend with 3.00 posi, on front using the factory straight axle setup but i have installed mono leaf spring with a 3' dropup front, 2" streached axle, converted the steering over to a cross steer, disc brakes,up front drum rear, the front is droped 5", rear 3" all steel car. drivetrain is ... bbc 454 with a turbo 400 trans. using 300m bucket seat which are power and have heat, I fabbed up a rear seat using the rear seat out of a neon,( to take the kids) put the gas tank out back, converted the doors over to one piece window(deleted the vents) smoothed out the firewall, shaved the door and trunk . know I am putting it together to drive for a while to make sure there is nothing I need to change before i paint it.Last edited by hottrodd57; 03-17-2006 at 08:51 PM.
