questions about installing ladder bars.
ok i only really have one question and its stupid. the ladder bars i have bolt to the axle housings. now obviously i cant leave it like this. whats the easiest way to weld these to the rear end?Never Criticise A Man Until You've Walked A Mile In His Shoes. That Way When You Criticise Him You'll Be A Mile Away And You'll Have His Shoes

Bolt them all up so that they are in the correct position on the housing, then weld them on. DO NOT weld them in one continuous bead or you will warp the housing!!! I would recomend no more then 1" of weld on each bracket, then let everything cool off before you weld more.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Unless I'm missing something here, don't all ladder bars bolt to a bracket which is welded to the axle tubes???Old guy hot rodder
