Just about 40 inches on the nose. This is relaxed, with no weight on it, just laying on the floor. I just suspended my T on one, and that's what mine was.

Hey there..Hi there.. Ho there.....Guy's.
Well thank's for the info. I was hopeing to be able to put a 40 Ford front spring on the rear of my 31 Ford Cpe......but it's too short. I'm trying to find a spring that I can use to lower the rear 3-4 inches without cutting up the frame and the floor of the trunk. Look's like I'm outta luck there.
Yeah...My ''Naked Ninja'' super power's were outta commision for a while. Iv'e been in and out of the hospital the past 6-7 months. Mostly in....and when home...not really able to get on the computer.....mostly slept. It was a close one......but doing much, much, better now. I'm almost ready to start terrorizing the neighborhood.......and makeing plan's on getting back out in the garage and finishing up the coupe. Say.......where's the CHR Trampoline and the bounceing babes in the wet tee-shirt been hideing? If I go to sleep........The clown's will eat me!!

Dennis: Take your spring to a spring shop and have it dearched and a new main leaf made up. It is not really exspensive, I had one done for my '27.
