    building a rear frame snub

after much thought I have decided that I need to change the rear half of the s10 frame since I will lose so much floor space in the rear of my 48 burb.. I have an idea what to do but would like to see what others may have done..so basicly I want to do is build a rear frame section w/a C-Notched rear section so the truck sets low but yet I don't eat up floor space.....any help is thankful....joe

If you're going to cut and weld your frame can't you just splice the rear of the original frame to the front of the S10 frame?

yes I could "OF" but its gone, & on top of that it was about 1/4 inch thick and was narrower then the inside of the s10 frame by about an inch on each side. on top of all of that it, the stock 48 frame was made out of 7 1/2 inch c-channel can understand why I got rid of it..........joe
