Thanks everyone for your help, Im going to mount the top bar about a 1" above axle C/L and it looks like it will work just fine.

The triangulated 4-link was used in all the GM midsized muscle cars with coil springsstarting in 1964 - GTO, Chevelle, Cutlass, etc., and a lot more. Two trailing arms angling from the outside of the frame to the "ears" on top of the punkin, and two trailing arms going from the frame to the rear axle near the brake housing. Classic triangulated 4-link.Jack
