Axle ID
Can anyone help me with ID on this axle? It is susposedly from a Chevy van and is now installed on my 55 Chevy project. As installed, the tie rods are behind the axle, and the brake lines are in the front of the backing plates. Also, the steering arm comes off the drivers side in front. This axle may even be on backwards, as that is the way I got it. It has one tie rod between both sides, and another tie rod connected from the right side.
I will need to get a pitman arm, drag link setup for steering. I can use the original 55 Chevy box, but I'd be interested in alternatives. Thanks...
