Front suspension help
I've just begun to build a 37 plymouth coupe. I plan to use a MII front end. My frame rails have a large hump over the the axle area. I can't understand how the crossmember would attach to the rails since they seem so high. On the phone Fatman said I do not need a frame stub but a year and a half ago they said I did need stub. looking for anyone who has some experience with this setup. Also I'll be using a GM 350 so I also need to consider motor mount position. Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. Not knowing your experience level,I'd recommend a fully engineered kit such as Fatmans, but there are others that sell them. Shop around some more and get more informed. There are several threads here about installation, look them over. Perhaps Fatman has re-engineered his kit so that clipping the framerails is no longer necessary. There is always a camaro frame clip, which inherently gives you the engine mounts you want. Get a few books on the subject and study up. Hank
