Question about trailing arms ,nascar set up?
What is the purpose of the bar that attaches the 2 trailing arms?Last edited by BigTruckDriver; 09-25-2007 at 08:22 PM.

If you mean the one at the rear attach point, it just acts as a brace. Doesn't really accomplish anything other then adding weight to the suspension.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

I was looking at the pic also and it seems the shocks are leaning too much and should of been placed a little further out.Friends dont let friends drive fords!

Yup. I've seen a lot of people mount shocks inboard, I suppose because it's more convenient. I like mine as far outboard as possible, must be the old dirt tracker in me or something.....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
