leaf spring q's?
alright the leaf spring on the old work truck took a dump a few days ago and i am not having any fun with this. i got the u bolts of the rearend, but how the heck do you get those old nasty bolts off the frame. ive tried penatrant oil, soaked them bout 10 times and let sit over night nothing, i do not have a press or a torch so ?????? im about read to junk the truck, this is one of the reasons ive been in such a happy mood <those of you that know, know what im talking about>

Well Scooter,sounds like the bolts are rustod fast to the steel sleeve that runs through the rubber of your spring eye. About the quickest way out would be to cut off both ends of the bolt flush to the brackets, and with prybars spread the bracket ears to let the spring drop out. Hank
