1955 Belair rear leaf spring relocate
Has anyone ever done or have any advice as to how easy it is to relocate the springs to the inside of the frame as I need the clearance for my disc brakes. I am running a 52 inch Ford Granada 9 inch rear end and the old perch area is too close. Example: I was thinking of moving the gas tank to the centre which would mean I would need to remove the spare tire holder-no biggie-but has anyone done this or have a website that they could send me to. Thank you very much.

This is so commonly done that there are kits sold by a number of manufacturers. Try Total Cost Involved, or Posies, maybe others can remember who els.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon
