I am building a 34 ford hi boy truck, I am going to run a 40 style split wishbone with a 4" drop I beam front axle. I am wanting to run drums in the front for a retro look also. I was going to run 40 ford drums, but I have a complete 51 ford parts truck and I heard the f-1 brakes would work good and I already have them. What all is involved in getting the f-1 drums mounted up? Do I need to run 40 spindles or the f-1 spindles? Will the f-1 setup be good or would it be better to run 40 car drums. Let me know how you all feel about this setup. All answers ans opinons are appreciated,THANKS
