    Talking Merc pinion angle

Hello ladies and gentlemen. Can anybody out there recomend a ballpark pinion angle on my 51 merc project car? The rear rides on stock leaf springs with 3" blocks, the front end is stock merc with 1" lowering blocks under the spring pockets. A 302 and a c-4 will make it go. Any help I get will be appreciated.

if i ammember correctly the pinion angle should be the same as the trans angle in the other direction .. if your trans is 4 degrees up your rear should be 4 degrees down

Yes, the center line of your transmission should be parallel to the center line of your pinion.
