    Dropped spindles

Does anyone know if there's a source for a dropped spindle for a stock 39 dodge pickup straight axle? Tryin to keep this project looking bone stock on the outside. Thanks

Dropped spindles are for independent suspension systems, not beam axles. You should consider either having your current axle dropped by a qualified shop or buy one already made with a deeper than stock drop. Here's some decent discussion on the subject: Butch's Cool Stuff - Dayton, Ohio - Your Headquarters for 1930s thru '50s Hot Rod and Custom Car Parts and Accessories And if you go to the "store" link near the top of his page, then click the Mopar link on the accessed page you'll see he offers a dropped tube axle kit as one alternative.
