leaf springs over or under drive train?
Hey all. Ive got a 74 nova and am replacing the leaf springs. I was woundering if im suppost to put the leaf springs over the axle, or under the axle. The ones i took off were under the axle, but the rear end was sagging. Yeah, i know im newb :P. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

under, they are the only thing that holds the rear end up, the 1's you removed were just worn out.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Matt,
Uou are a good lad, and Yes you are right on a Nova they should go under. But,............ There many Pickups in the real world where the rear end mounts under the leaf springs. Check it out sometime.Duane S
