Hi I'm the new guy the site is nice I have a question for some of the chevy people I have a 54 chevy 210 I'm running the factory front end I have a 10 bolt rear with air bags I whould like to lower the front without spending alot of money I though about removing the springs and putting air bags in there place but so far no luck any replys will help. Thanks

Do you have the straight bar front end or the A-frames? My 50 has A-frames, but my 53PU has a straight bar.

Pertaining to lowering the front of 54 chevy. There are 2 ways to lower the front of 54 Chevy safely. 1 being replace the front suspention with a mustang II front cross member and suspention 2. being replace your spindle mounts with dropped units. There are several companies that make these dropped spindles. One welll knobn company is Fatman's fabrications.

On my 52 chevy i replaced to whole cross member with an ultra low mustang II air bags from fatman. Wasnt very hard to install just alot of time . Pricy too.
