subframe for my 46 chevy trk.
I need some help and advice. I want to upgrade my front end and v- 8 my old truck,but can't spend the big bucks on the mustang 2 . I live out in the country and going to use her for hauling kids and light loads. PLEASE give me some pointer's.Thanks

I do not know the track of your truck ,but the 78-88 mid size GM cars (Chevelle,Buick Regal Pontiac GP...etc )have a 58 1/2" track. I have that IFS in my 48 Chev trk...good luckDon Meyer, PhD-Mech Engr(48 GMC Trk/chopped/cab extended/caddy fins & a GM converted Rolls Royce Silver Shadow).

yea, I would like to go that route, but I'm did'nt want to spend that kind of money, but on the other hand I hate chopping the frame.
