    '46 Ford/Chevy rear suspension

Hi room - Have a '46 Ford 2dr Sedan w/1985 Camaro 10 bolt rear - 5 leaf spring and stock shocks - do I need a rear sway bar or will this stiffen the suspension too much? - this is just going to be a cruiser - or would a combination of coilovers and springs work? - many thanks - Charlyg

just for cruising with 2 people in the car i wouldnt worry about a away bar. its a dif. story if youer going to load it down and fly down the road. i dont know what you mean about coilovers and spring. if you installed a set of coilovers that would be springs and shocks as one piece. to make them work you would need to add a panhard bar and ladder bars to hold the dif. under the car. the coilovers are nice but not necessary. if youer on a budget the leaf springs will do fine.
