S-10 Frame Swap
Hello Everyone, I am in the process of doing a Frame swap on my 1951 chevy 3600. I was wandering if anyone had any advise on cab placement and mounts. Any advise or PICTURES would be great in the planning process ATM. I Bought a 1987 long bed S-10 too use and have since striped it to bear frame and sand blasted it. I am almost complete on the tear down of the 51 only the cab and running boards remain on the old frame.

Lots of measuring and welding....You are going to have to make new cab mounts. shouldn't be too big a problem. The hard part is getting them in the right location.Home Handyman Forum

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
