question
I seen alot of cars on shows that when they took off they could shoot flames out the exaust how is this made possible.terry

Spark plug in the exhaust pipe hooked to a coil a switch rich runnin' carb.

This is done with a flame-thrower. We do not manufacture them at Total Performance. Norco prodcues quality flame-throwers. Visit www.norco.com
When this past time first began, there were no flame-throwers, and originally spark plugs were placed in the exaust pipe. Then the engine was flooded; so that when you hit the gas, gas came out the exaust pipe, igniting the spark plug & creating a flame.Last edited by Brian McAllister; 04-23-2004 at 11:55 AM.
