clutches?
i need some advice & opinions on clutches. i already have a pretty good idea but would like some other opinions on the subject. i need a clutch kit that wont gernade on me on in the 301. i shift @ 7500-7700 <most of the time hehe> and i need a good clutch that wont explode on me. anyone care to voice there 2 cents?..........would be awesome if there was a solid street/strip kit............scooter

i also have good luck with centerforceI can't afford billet.

I had a 3200 lb. unit built to go behind the 400sbc I had in an old chevy truck, never had it to 7 grand little over 5 maybe the most. At that many r's I'd be concerned about a scattershield as well. As Tech can vouch for, we've seen first hand the results of clutch explosions.Ken Thomas

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
