T56 tranny mount
LT1/T56 swap into my '35 ford coupe...the motor mounts are just standard 350 chevy mounts, but does anyone know of a t56 mount that will work or is it going to have to be a custom piece? thanks'35 Ford coupe- LT1/T56, '32 Ford pickup, 70 GTO convertible, 06 GTO

coupe, I guess most of us old guys on here are so used to cobbling up custom pieces that we just take it for granted that a T56 in a '35 is gonna take some seat-of-the-pants fabricating. I'd start with this crossmember part# BTMC3540F for only $25 and drill it to accept the T56 insulator. Maybe if you call 'em up, they'll drill it for you.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
