c6 tranny behind a 351w
i am building a mustang and i aquired a c6 tranny, how much of a disadvantage will this be as opposed to a c4 or something? anyone with answers will be greatly appreciated.

Disadvantage how? The C6 is a much better trans, just heavier, if that's a consideration. The C4 doesn't have enough flow to the cooler for serious power applications.

I agree with the Pope..... I have a C-6 behind the 351W in my '71, no way would I trade it for a C-4. The 6's are a lot stronger tranny and should last a lot longer on the street than a comparably prepped C-4.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

i was just wondering if there would be any disadvantage to using a c6 behind a 351w. other than weight is there any other diff. between the c6 and c4?
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
