Stall
looking to get a stall coverter for the camaro. so many choices. B&M says hole shot 2400 TIC says use there break away , what about the lower cost converters like jegs and summit have there own? the application is 83 camaro 342 gears 350 turbo crane cam 218@.050 274 adv. 450 lift 106ls they recomend 2500+ stall cruise rpm 2600 to 3000 rpm. the cars not used for racing only cruising and an occasional burn out
it may see a 1000 miles a year. what im saying is do i really need to spend the big bucks/ or not?

I haven't tried the Jeg's brand, but I had a friend that did and he said he had no complaints...

Jegs probably doesn't make their own, and have somebody else do it for them. Whenever I buy a PAW cam, it comes with a Crane timing card, so guess who's cam that is?
For the limited usage and application you have, you should be fine with the house brand.

Talk to one of the tech guys at Jegs and tell him your application. 2400 - 2600 stall seems about right.Jack
