Rossi trans
Anyone have or dealt with Rossi transmissions, I have a 700r4 which I changed the pan gasket on, reading the letter they sent it tells me to use type "F" fluid, Ford fluid in a GM why?
Regards,
Steve

co-efficent of friction is differant than G.M. fluid , we used to put type f in our old turbo hydros to make them shift harder. if they tell you to put that in and you use Dextron instead you can burn up in clutchs / bands as they were designed for the ford fluid and will slip/ cause greater heat w/ each shirt. 31 5w

31 5w,
This is part of a project I got and I don't think Rossi is in bussiness any longer, so I guess I'll go with the F type.
Thanks,
Steve
I wanted to complain about this NZ slang business, but I see it was resolved before it mattered. LOL..
