    Toploader?

i am trying to locate a 4 speed toploader for my galaxie. i have no experience with manual transmissions (not that they are that complicated). anyway besides the obvious parts that i will need like a flywheel (already have), pressure plate and clutch plate what else will i need? i will need a cluth pedal and a smaller brake pedal but what about all the linkages? and everything that connects the cluthc to the pedal what will i need to do this swap and does anybody have any idea where i could find the parts bc i cant find a 4spd 65 galaxie anywhere. do any of you know any place where i can buy a decent toploader i looked at David Kee but it looks like they just restore them not sell them.
    Thanks
    Tyler

Tyler you can check at a salvage yard for a cross reference a earlier model maybe even later model may have ran the same clutch pedal assy . The z bar and clutch rods will have to be for the size block you running I'm allmost sure . I do bet a 63 or 64 full size with a six will get you the pedals but as i seen below Z bar will be harder to find .

With something of this age if no donor is found i would consider updating to a cable type or hydraulic clutch .

Tyler i was just looking at my 67 mustang pedals and there is alot of simularity so you should be able to find a set out of a few different vehicles that you could mod maybe

thanks guys sorry i havent been replying i have been away from the internet for a few days. i think this will be a really cool swap if i can get tall the parts together but its gonna be hard to find everything withoug a donor car im just trying to figure out some other cars that i can source parts off of im gonna start doing some looking around and see what i can dig up bc the hope of finding a manual 65 is hopeless...pretty much

i believe clutch pedal assembly from a mustang will match in no problem.... also why not eliminate the old sloppy clutch link which cause noises and tends to fail and upgrade to a cable clutch... NPD has a kit as well you can find cable clutch kits on ebay...... and also hydraulic clutch kits too
just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day
