89 C-6 trans for a 460 CI engine
I have a 89 C-6 for a 460 that i want to put in a 76 lincoln continental with a 460 CI engine i would like to know if this will work. Is a 89 C-6 tranny the same as a 76 C-6 tranny. Thanks for all your help!!!

The 89 tranny might be electronic and that could cause some problems, but if not, it should be identical to the earlier tranny.

The C-6 was not made in an electronic mode. There should not be a problem.Right engine, Wrong Wheels

i wouldnt run anything behind that big block but a C-6Ill take rust any day over that itchy ass fiberglass!
