    TH350 overdrive ID

I have a TH350 Trans in a hotrod which has an electric plug-in on the drivers side. As I understand; that would make it a 1984 or newer unit. I presently do not have anything plugged into it altho I do have a pigtail to plug into it. Does having the plug-in make it an overdrive unit? If it is an overdrive unit; how would I wire it to utilize the OD?

It's a locking converter 350, not OD. That plug is for lockup.

Just hook up 12v to it, with a switch on the dash or somewhere convenient so you can lock/unlock it at will.
