That's good. didn't you just put that motor in recently? When I pulled my engine 4 the rebuild, my mounts crumbled. Mount faliure on the 144-200's is common from what people have told me.

yea motor was built and installed just under a year ago. the mounts looked okay at the time, so i reused them but when i pulled the old one last night, the rubber completely separated from the metal so....

but i replaced both so it shouldnt be a problem for a good long while

Yea, but now what about your tranny mount? mine's not looking healthy, but the trans should be toasted b4 that goes, and I'm just going to swap to a 4spd or a T5 when that happens. going tomorrow to get 1, was going to go last weekend to a diffrent yard, but never got there. maby a new rear end if I can find 1.

tranny mount is near brand new (c4 wasnt an option in 61 so it was a custom made mount)

    good luck with yours

I forgot the Fordomatic was the auto used until '64.

I'm not having such good luck with mine still. oil preassure is still low, getting a new pump and drive tomorrow, hoping the new pump will do it. pump in it is new, but I think it's the problem. 3 PSI at idle, but oil is getting pumped where it should, even 2 rockers, which are the Yella Terra's w/ the mod'd oiling system.
