    Transmission Fluid On The U-Joint

Have a little transmission fluid dripping from the u-joint, behind the TH400 tranny. The yoke out of the tranny is dry, so I know that seal is not leaking. Can this fluid be somehow coming through the yoke?

Thanks, Denny. I'll take it apart and take a closer look. The manual shows an o-ring on the trans output shaft, just forward of the spline. Wondering if that is to seal the fluid from the yoke. Guess I should see that when I remove the drive shaft.

Hey! Thanks for that information, Denny!

Every time I park my S-10 on the up-slope into my garage I get an oil spot on the concrete and I can't figure out where the heck it comes from, then, when I park on a level place and go under to look for the leak I can't find one because it ain't leaking.

My wife is always always kind enough to point out oil spots on our expensive concrete drive (as though I didn't know they were there), so I appreciate your help in the prevention of hostility at my house.
