starliner aod
hi guys I have a couple of questions I hope some one can help me with I picked up a 1960 ford starliner from the 87 year old widow next door 43k mi nice car black on black she bought it new I have been picking up parts for about 2 yrs fresh 40 over 312 y block 4 weel disc brakes air ride sys now I am down to the trans it has a 2 sd fordomatic I have found a couple of places to git adapters to an aod my question is this a good choice if so what year and model core should I be looking for Ive spent most my life in chevyland so I could use some input thanks ted

Do they make an adapter for a 700R? Since you have to make a driveshaft and modify the crossmember anyway it might be a thought. I would go with an early AOD and avoid any of the later big ugly things..

hi 427 I dont know of an adapter for a700r4 none of my internet research has turned up any but I have 2 good 700 so that would make life easy for me if any one knows of any please let me know thanks ted

hay 427 thanks for the link I knew about bendtsens about when I did my research at that time they didnt have the chevy kit your right about the price they they went up 175.00 in about 8 mo.
