I wouldn't mind if some of you folks could throw me some good info on the th375. Ive been told its basically the same as a th 400, but will bolt-in-place of a th350. Is this true? Is it a good transmission??

It is a lighter duty version of the TH400. On most of the units the differences are found to be a lighter duty sprag & less amount of clutches. It can be built just like a TH400 because of the parts interchange. It is usually found to have the lnger tailshaft and it shares the TH350 yoke. So depending on your 350, it can easily be adapted. TH350's had short and long shaft options. Do a bit of measuring and see what has to move if anything. What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

i have the long tail 350, about 9 inches? I keep burning out 350s even with hi-performace clutches and all so im hoping this will end that
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
