transmission wont shift to 3rd only when hot
Pontiac 375 turbo transmission, works fine until engine warms up. 1st and 2nd respond correctly but third is a no go. I had previously found one of my return lines from the rediator sitting against the headers causing it to boil which i thought was the issue. the line has been moved and insulated against heat but the problem persists. Since its not a consistant issue im rather lost here, ideas?

change the filter. If that doesn't fix it, get it rebuilt..
Education is expensive. Keep that in mind, and you'll never be terribly upset when a project goes awry.

You might wanna check in to what fluid you used, and if you need to use any friction modifiers.
