Steve, you could have avoided all of this angst and loss of sleep by having opted for a 4 speed top loader or a Tremac T5. Three pedals are always better than 2.

This is true Bob. Then all I'd have worried about is how to install the clutch petal and clutch.
Never done a clutch!
