torque converter, reuse or new
Should I buy a new torque converter or use the one that came with the scrapyard transmission I just acquired?

I would like to see what is in the oil pan before I made that call, and how clean trans fluid is. If no metal in pan and fluid is clean and not burnt and it will fit your application why not?Last edited by sg4356; 12-04-2009 at 06:31 AM.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
