    390 stick options

     



    I have a 390 truck motor and trans (4 spd. creeper gear).this is a 1976 ford . Using the truck bellhousing, what other trans. can be used for a car conversion. 3 or 4 spds. Thank you

    the granny gear trans is a hd unit which is made by severial cpompanys they will interchange between most make of trucks this is not a trans you want in a car.the shifter is on the top cover gear ratio are made for a truck. get a passenger bellhousing and a 3-4 speed top laoder trans.

    do not use the truck bellhousing its longer in length that the car unit

    Depending on what you're looking for, I've got a couple used 3 spds laying around from my 55 Ford Customline project that I'd sell ya...but shipping not make it a very appealing deal. These babies are HEAVY. PM me if interested...
