turbo 400 slips in 2nd gear
hi
i just rebuilt my turbo 400 and it slips in 2nd gear. i aired checked everything was good . put it in drive it holds 1st gear until you back off the accelerate then it goes into 3rd gear . if you change it Manuel from 1st to 2nd then it slips in 2nd

it has some drive in 2nd then if you accelerate it start to slip

It's an overriding sprag (it works like a ratchet. it locks up in one direction and ratchetts (slips) in the other.
If it's in backwards it will work under low load, but slip when you get on it.
