Transmition Work
I know this would be hard to nail down, because of the different areas we all live in, but what on average do you think I would pay to have a 350 turbo overhauled?

Thanks for the info. I'm hearing the same thing from alot of guys around here, that most places will not guarentee their work unless the trans is in the car. So looks like I will end up spending a bit more $$$ no problem though...will be worth it when I'm done

Speaking of transmission work, what would be involved in getting a turbo 350 to survive in a 6050 lb gvwr truck with 400+ lbs of torque?

Ok, so just get one of them performance rebuild kits off Summit. Truck came with a cooler, so I'm set there. Thats good to know, I'll budget a little over $200 in parts for the tranny.

Thanx for the Help......I guess I just need to save up a bit now
You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
