Transmission
Not many manufacturers, nor reviewers speak about the transmission value of lenses. In the case of the 'Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM | A' it is intersting to know, because it might be very low -- somewhere close to its minimum aperture of 1.4, let's say 1.5 T-stops. This because of its humongous front element and overall size and weight, indicating that big glass is used to let in a lot of light. Anyone knows what is the transmission of the Sigma 85mm f/1.4 DG HSM | A in T-stops?Best Engine Degreaser

Not certain about T-Stops in the new lens, as this is a hot rod site and not a camera site, but would direct your attention to the following video to explain a new transmission that is about to hit the market......

As I recall Brent had a forum, AutoMotoMedia, dedicated to automotive photography, but it doesn't appear to be active? The domain seems to be for sale now, so perhaps Brent will see this and guide you to an active site for your question.Roger
