Hi Guys!
I have a good ol' Th700-R4 in my 1983 G20 Van. It's just been rebuilt (the tranny) so it drives fine, but sometimes it doesn't shift into overdrive. Could that be something to do with the fact that my vacuum line isn't connected up?
My second question is: What is the best stock (not highperformance) manual tranny I can put in it? I'm trying to get good mileage out of my van, and a manual always gives you better mileage. And I don't quite trust my 700.
I will have problems finding a manual tranny here in Germany anyway, but I might aswell give it a go. THX!
And does anyone know a good URL for tranny specs?
