and jerry is 100% correct. thre is a th-250. the 250 use a band instead of a clutch pack for second gear and passing gear. the only way to identify one from the other is on the right hand side of the 250, middle way down there is a band adj. screw coming through the case. ive rebuilt a lot of gm trans. and never seen one.
