    I didn't do the install, there aren't any door handles or anything.


    Here's what I ended up doing. Not too too bad for a first door ever.


    There's a couple of bubbles in the picture I ended up heat gun-ing out.

    We used a marine quality vinyl, 1/8" plywood, and 1/4" closed cell foam.

    The chrome pieces were salvaged off another Rambler. They have little brad-like nails on the inside that twist up in the closed cell foam. Not easy. The piece kept slipping off the line and bending... it took a while and one wasted door panel to get it right.


    Here's the seat that it went with:


    We used the original foam to save costs. I think next time, I'll just replace it. I think it looks a little too broken in.

    Thanks to everyone who posted. It's nice to see where I'm headed, one step at a time. It's also really great to be able to talk to you all. I am grateful for the tips.
