66 Chevelle rear seat frame restoration?
Hey guys!
I just pulled the rat infested rear seat out of my Chevelle tonight. The covers were rotted and so was the foam and burlap. I stripped all the old stuff off and I am down to the frames. They have a lot of surface rust on them and maybe some pitting. What is the best way to clean these things up? Will san blasting work or is there not enough surface area for the sand to hit? Once I do get the rust off of them what should I paint them with?
Thanks
Wade

media blast them then have them pwder coated or you can use some heavy rustoleum paint to seal the metal up . if some of the springs are brittle and or too thin replace them.
