Hey M.T., long time no see! I've sent my dash and window trim out for woodgraining, trying out the hydro-dipping approach.. parts aren't back yet so you'll have to wait for pics...

Sounds cool 34_40... A buddy just did the woodgrain look to his dash,interior trim and garnish molding for the windows. Looks amazingly good. Im anxious to see what you come up with!

I put myself on a self imposed "TIME OUT" for awhile... I was getting to testy and wasnt very proud of where I was going. I had to cool my jets, listen to the little voice in my head, then deflate my big arse bubble before I could continue. I think I can be a good boy for awhile now.

We all need some time away once in a while.. Good to see your here again!

Well that doesnt look good? Some time back I was having issues with the forum doing goofy things with my posts. I would click on different topics and it said I wasnt authorized to post and thing like that so I opened another account and the issues went away. Guess the mods didnt like me having 2 accounts... Hopefully its all cleared up now. Im not banned Just the old account is banned!

I struck something similar when I tried to log-on here with my lap-top.
The system seemed to think I was an usurper trying to hijack my account.
Very frustrating!

Correct, if you look in the sig line of the other account, it reads "duplicate account closed".

Unless you want the other account to be your "one" allowable account, in which case I can do the swap and close the M.T. one. Your choice.

Not a problem at all Bill... what ever its worth with all 3 accounts Ive tried with here 1.~Metal Twister 2.~ M.T.1 and 3.~ M.T. I still cant log on to the home page? I get a pop up window and it says I dont have permission to go there... LOL Just an FYI and Im done trying to find the glitch. Thanks for the offer to change it back. This will work just fine!

If this is not the url you have pointed to as the home page, change it in your link properties:

http://www.clubhotrod.com/

it will default to

http://www.clubhotrod.com/content/

which is the current home page url

34_40, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1.Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2.If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

Log Out Home

We all get that one if you click on the logo at the top left of the page! Just ignore it and choose a tab / menu choice below that logo.

Not really....I've never been a Darrell 1, 2 or 3. But I have watched reruns of The Bob Newhart Show. I guess I could have also cited George Foreman and all his sons named George.....

However, I just found this and reviewed.....at about the 3 min. mark I'm reminded it's only 2 Darrells and a Larry.... clip from second episode of Newhart - YouTube

M.T., when you get that "...you don't have permission" message just ignore it, scroll to the top and click on "Today's Posts" or one of the other tabs. Works for me anyway....
